Dear Friends in Christ,
Praise the Lord for the donations that have already come in for CFBI’s Israel Projects. We are ahead of the amount we had this time last year for our Collection/Distribution Trip to Israel in November. With five months to help our ministry projects, I want to encourage you to start now if you have not already. Thankfully, each year the majority of the donations are received the last few months before our trip. Please pray and give as the Lord leads. The one thing that I remember, as a boy attending church, is the preacher saying, “You can’t out give the Lord.” The Lord has graciously proved this Biblical truth time and time again in my life.
Please keep our projects in your prayers along with reaching our $30,000 goal to distribute to them. I am confident of their using everything we take to them bringing glory to God. Their service to our Lord and their ministry to those in need of the love of Christ are more than deserving of our gifts.
Even though not-for-profit organizations are allowed by law to use a large portion of the donations they receive for their own needs, CFBI does not operate in that way. Every penny designated for our projects or that which is undesignated goes to our projects. Only that designated for CFBI’s operation is kept for our use. Then, a part of that is given to our projects.
Every year the hearts of those going with me to Israel are blessed by what they see and hear from our projects. I wish that you too could witness first hand the work they do. However, your faith in God and your trust in CFBI’s ministry to work on your behalf for Israel and God’s Chosen People will count more in Glory.
My prayer is that each of you will search your hearts and pray to follow God’s will in this matter. Romans 15:25-27 says, “But now I go unto Jerusalem to minister unto the saints. For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem. It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.”
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” (Psalms 122:6) Seeing the situation the world is in, our time to do God’s will, in service to Him, may quickly end. When Jesus comes again there will be peace. Today we see that all nations either have or are turning against Israel. Thankfully, our God is in control. Our time to minister to God’s Chosen People may soon end. Let us do what we can while there is opportunity.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support. You are daily in our prayers.
Yours for Israel and God’s Chosen People,
Talmadge Campbell, Timmie & CFBI
