Dear Friends in Christ,

Tom and I will be leaving for Israel in November.  Although we have not reached our $20,000 Collection/Distribution Goal for the Israel projects that CFBI supports, we are $438 over the $16,500 amount that we distributed last year.

We have already been blessed by the donations that have come in for our Collection/Distribution trip to Israel.  Our projects in Israel are in great need for their ministries to the poor and needy.  Please pray that the Lord will continue to provide and use CFBI to be a blessing to our projects.  Of course, we could not do this without the Lord first using you to pray and give.

My wife and I are thankful and extremely grateful for each of you that pray and give so that we together can be a blessing to Israel and God’s Chosen People.  It is our desire to take an offering that Jesus describes in Luke 6: 38, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.  For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”  We realize that some of you have given all you can this year.  I can only ask that you search your heart once more before we leave for Israel and give your best in God’s service to those that are in need and toward those that have not yet received Jesus as Savior.

You may designate your gift to a particular project or give it undesignated and 100% of it will go to our projects.  We know that our responsibility before the Lord is one to be honored and to take charge of as good stewards.  It is one that we will have to give account for when Jesus comes again. 

Many scriptures teach how we are to give to those in need and to the poor.  As disciples of Christ, I believe that each of us has that desire in our hearts of reflecting the same love that Jesus gave to the multitudes of those that were poor, sick, and in need.  I often personally feel that I could do more and I pray for the faith to fulfill God’s will in my life.  Please pray for Timmie and me so we can be all the Lord would have us to be.

Please pray also for Tom and myself as we travel and for the Lord to use all of us to be a blessing to our projects.  I cannot express in words the experiences the Lord has blessed us with each time we visit our loved ones in Israel.  I only wish that you could be along side us to feel first hand the love and appreciation coming from our brothers and sisters in Israel.

Thank you for your love, prayers, support, and donations.  We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.  And know that CFBI will gladly send you a yearly tax deductible giving statement after the end of the year when requested.
