Dear Friends in Christ,

The time of our November trip to Israel is drawing near.  We are thankful to report that we have passed our half-way point of our $20,000 Collection/Distribution goal by several hundred dollars.  Thank you very much for your generous and sacrificial giving to this more than worthy cause to bless Israel and God’s Chosen People.  My prayer is that together we will meet this goal before the trip.  I must confess that my prayer is also that I will have faith to exceed the goal.  Our mission projects greatly need and deserve your prayers and support for the work they are doing to bring glory to our Lord.

Along with their faithful service in meeting the spiritual and physical needs of both the lost and our brothers and sisters living in the Land comes the negative aspect to test their faith and works.  The enemy works extra hard against them because he, the devil, knows what is at stake.  Even though we know that his time is limited, I believe that he thinks he can fully overcome God’s elect.  With him being “a king over all the children of pride” the pride of his heart has deceived him into thinking he will, in the end, overcome God’s plan and purpose for the children of God.  Our enemy is powerful and that is why we must be prayerful with faithful diligent.

Timmie and I have experienced these attacks personally while living in Israel.  We also understand that you are fighting the good fight of faith here.  That is one of the reasons we are so thankful for everything that you do in helping CFBI fulfill its ministry.  1 Timothy 6:12 says to “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

Please keep our project’s Gospel ministries and our upcoming trip in your prayers:

1. Project Ecclesia in Jerusalem – to the poor and needy in general, and to our brothers and sisters in the church that are in need.      

2. Project Helping Hand in Jerusalem - to new immigrants entering Israel in need.

3. Project Solomon on Israel's west coast - To the poor and needy with food baskets, clothing, and other assistance as the Lord leads this ministry.

4. Project Shining Light on southern west coast – works alongside Project Solomon.

5. Project Miriam, Israel, (Pro-Life) - to pregnant women who are contemplating aborting their babies.
