Dear Friends in Christ,
Along with our prayers for you who pray, give, and support Christians for Biblical Israel, our board of directors, in our last meeting, voted to set our goal for our annual collection/distribution trip to Israel at $20,000. Our collection will start in May and go through the time we leave during the first week in November. Our total undesignated amounts received to date will be added to the distribution total. All of your designated gifts either have already been sent to our projects or will be sent when received before May 1. All of the designated contributions that we receive after May 1 will be given to your project designation during our trip.
The $20,000 goal is $3,500 more than what we distributed during our trip last year. We are so thankful for our Lord’s blessings upon you and CFBI so that we together can be a blessing to Israel and God’s Chosen People. Each year the distribution amount has increased due to your generous giving and your faithful prayers. Please pray that we will, at the least, reach our $20,000 goal. It is my hope and desire to do even more for our deserving five projects in Israel. The Lord is able and honors our faith. May each of us continue praying for His blessings and be faithful to His will for our lives.
With that report, I would like to say thank you to those that have already given (some more than once) since our trip last November. My heart rejoices that we can reach out in love to those in need. Our God is so good and I feel so unworthy of His great love and His many blessings. Joy overflows when CFBI receives by hand, by mail, or via our website, a gift for our projects. When you give, it shows that our Lord touched your heart to share what either He has already blessed you with or what He has in faith laid on your heart to give. Praise His Name!
I do need to add that if one of our projects informs us that they have an immediate need, CFBI will do all it can to see that the need is met. Our projects have many needs in fulfilling their ministries. The desire of our hearts is to see that each need of these ministries receives overflowing blessings from Heaven above in their service to our Lord and Savior.
Our projects do report to us on regular bases. One specific prayer request both Projects Ecclesia and Shining Light have is concerning visas for their ministry workers. Please pray that God will work in the hearts of those in power in Israel. Many of them need to see the work our Christian workers and volunteers are doing is a blessing to Israel and not a hindrance.
Thank you so very much for your part in CFBI’s ministry; also thank you for your prayers, support, and donations. We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.
Yours for Israel and God’s Chosen People,
Talmadge, Timmie, & all with CFBI
