Dear Friends in Christ,

Before each newsletter is written and sent much prayer is given for the purpose of bringing glory to God and blessings to you and CFBI’s projects.  I confess that it presses hard on my heart knowing that each of you have needs to address in your life and that I am writing asking that you give to meet other peoples needs.  Christians are to pray for one another, but not knowing how to pray specifically for you burdens me; especially when you are blessing Christians for Biblical Israel with your gifts and/or prayers.  I want each of you to feel free to call or write any time with your prayer requests and to share any burdens that you have.

As you know, we hear regularly from our projects in Israel.  They always share their joys in their ministries along with their struggles with the “evil one” and the ones he controls.  Please try to pray daily for them.  Their “front line” battles need all the support that we can give them.  I fully believe and have faith that each resource that the Lord provides them with is used completely to bring honor to God and blessings to people in need.  In brief, please pray for our (1) Projects Solomon and Shining Light in the Tel Aviv area, and (2) Projects Ecclesia, Helping Hand, and Miriam in Jerusalem.  These also reach out to people in other areas of Israel.  Again, we would like to hear from you if you have a question about any or all of these ministries.  Information can also be found on our website www.cfbi.org.

We praise the Lord for how the New Year has started off and want to thank you once more for your donations that made last year so successful.  We are ahead of what CFBI received at this time last year.  Nevertheless, we cannot get careless in our effort to be a great blessing to Israel and God’s Chosen People in 2009.

Our monetary goal for our Annual Collection/Distribution trip to Israel in October/November has not been set.  Please pray for God’s leadership during CFBI’s annual board meeting on February 21.  Discussing the goal seems futile at times knowing that our Heavenly Father is able to do all things above what we ask or think.  (Ephesians 3:20)  However, it is our desire to follow and serve our Lord.

Thank you so very much for your part in CFBI’s ministry; also thank you for your prayers, support, and donations.  We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.
