Dear Friends in Christ,

We will be leaving for Israel right after the first of November for CFBI’s annual Collection/Distribution trip to Israel.  As always we look forward to visiting and giving to our projects so that we together can be a blessing to Israel and God’s Chosen People.  

This coming Saturday (October 4), Christians for Biblical Israel will be having a meeting to pray, talk about our trip, and to discuss the amounts for each of our projects.  Some monies have been designed by you to go to a certain project.  Be assured that every penny will be given to your designated project.  I am thankful to report that we have matched what was given for our projects at this time last year.  However, we are about $2000 less of matching our last year goal of $15,000.

I realize that each of us have our own responsibilities where we live.   Many of you have given all you can this year.  I can only ask that you search your heart once more before we leave for Israel and give your best in God’s service toward those in need.

There is much opposition today toward what God is doing in and for Israel.  The Bible is clear about how God will bless those who will be a blessing to Abraham and his seed.  Some say the Gospel is not for the Jew while others say Christians should not support Israel and the Jews returning to the place God has promised them.  We are living in desperate times and in a fast changing world.  Humanity is in the cross roads of following what God will do in the end time for his children or following the way of Satan and the world.  With joy and hope we, who believe, know that “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” (Ro. 8:28)  Service for our Lord often requires much diligence and sacrifice.   Our brothers and sisters in Israel experience many difficulties and are persevering in spite of what Satan throws at them.  Thank you for all you do to help them and to show them that you care for them and for those they reach out to.

Please pray for Tom and my travels and for our desire to be a blessing to our projects.   I cannot express in words the experiences the Lord blesses us with each time we visit with our loved ones in Israel.  I only wished that you could be along side us to feel first hand the love and appreciation coming from our brothers and sisters in Israel.
