Dear Friends in Christ,
It is all joy and praise when we receive from Israel letters of thanks for the help Christians For Biblical Israel is providing. This could not be possible without you. For it is God making it possible for all of us (together) to be an important part in what He is doing in the hearts and lives of His Chosen People.
Two of the many letters: (interpreted)
“Thank you very much for your gift. I wish you happiness, health and that God will never forget what you do for people.”
“Thank you very much for the gift that was presented to me only now, because I was in the hospital. Thank to our God that He doesn’t forget His children. I thank Him that He saved me. I’m not young, I’m 73 years old. I had terrible childhood during the World War II. I was on the occupied territory in Crimea, and saw a lot of grief. My mom had four children. We were rescued by a miracle. We are in Israel for already 10 years and even here I tasted the grief. My son also came to Israel, but here he started to drink. I have a request for you, dear brothers and sisters. Please pray for my son, for his wife, and his son, and for me.”
We have received many other letters. The Lord knows each of their needs. Please keep these and the many like them in your prayers.
Timmie and I are so very thankful for both the personal support we receive and for the support and donations given directly to CFBI’s ministry. Out of the monies given in 2006 for the work of the ministry, 93.5% when directly for our projects. The remainder spent from that designated for our operating expenses. We thank and praise the Lord for this ability to give such a large percentage to our mission projects.
Christians For Biblical Israel is also thankful for your demonstrative of love. For God’s Word teaches that we are to have loving concern for the poor and needy. To do so we must think rightly about what God would have us to do to affirm our genuine love and concern for them. The “poor” occurs 205 time in 197 verses and the “poor and needy” in 29 verses. In studying these scriptures, they tell us the importance God places on people who are in need. The reason given by the angel in Acts 10, when God heard Cornelius’ prayer, was his giving to the poor and needy in Israel.
Please keep all of our mission projects, web site, and efforts in reaching out to people in need in your prayers. It is our desire to bring Glory to the Name of our Lord.
We are so thankful for you who pray, support, and donate so that we can do the work that the Lord has called us to do. We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.
Yours for Israel and God’s Chosen People,
Talmadge & Timmie Campbell
