Dear Friends in Christ,

Please pray for Tom’s and my trip to Israel in October.  We are trusting the Lord to do much more for our Projects than what we were able to give last year.    Our goal this year is $10,000.  Of course, we would like to exceed this and give more to our Projects.  The Lord knows that they will use it for supplying the needs of the saints and for evangelism purposes in reaching out to the poor and needed.   Prayerfully, we hope to grow and do more each year (Romans 15:26.  “For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor saints which are at Jerusalem.” 15:27. “It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.”)

Please keep Timmie, Matthew and I in your prayers.  My health has greatly improved since my procedure.  I only need to get my heart rate and blood pressure regulated with medication.

From Two Of Our Projects:

Project Ecclesia – Thank you so much for your love and support.  God is so good. Yesterday we got the 200,000 tracts we ordered and that makes it 250,000 in the last month.  We pray that by the end of 2006 the entire quantity will reach hungry souls.  It is humbling to see how God is bringing together His Children to accomplish His will.  After all, it is all about the salvation of people.

Project Solomon – We are deeply indebted to each of you for your sacrifice and love to the Jewish people. Several new immigrants, who have been helped by your gifts, have been deeply touched simply by the fact that someone cares about them.  Some have opened their hearts to God.

CFBI will give 100% of your un-designated gifts to helping people in need both spiritually and physically.    No salaries are taken out of your gifts and Tom and I pay our own traveling expenses.  We are so very thankful to the Lord for providing.

Please pray for CFBI as we seek the Lord’s guidance and blessings to grow and do His will.  We are so thankful for you who pray, support, and donate so that we can do the work that the Lord has called us to do.  We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.

CFBI is endeavoring to have a larger, than what we had last year, annual collection/distribution to the projects we support in Israel.  Talmadge and I will be making the annual collection/distribution trip for the poor and needy of Israel in late October.  We are hoping and praying to have several thousand dollars to give to the projects when we visit and minister with them during our stay in Israel.  This annual giving is in addition to the regular support CFBI provides these projects throughout the year.

Please pray with us that the Lord will lead in an abundance of funds being given and that His blessings will flow through those who give to Jews and fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in the land of Israel.
