Outraged MK Uriel Reichman quits politics after Sharon's promise to appoint him Education Minister was not realized; he even refused to meet with Olmert. Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz had difficult meeting with Olmert yesterday in wake of report that Peretz is expected to replace him.

SUMMARY OF EDITORIALS FROM THE HEBREW PRESS
Yediot Ahronot strongly criticizes, "the moral nadir expressed in the state's attitude toward the Holocaust survivors who live here," many of whom are in dire socio-economic straits.
Hatzofeh deplores the Israeli Arab MKs who recently met with leading Hamas officials and cautions that these meetings will pave the way for Europeans and others to meet with Hamas representatives as well.
