THE MURDERERS HAVE BEEN CAPTURED.
Six senior Palestinian fugitives, including senior PFLP terrorists and Minister Rechavam Zeevy's assassins, turned themselves in to IDF yesterday evening. Six left Jericho prison in which they had been holed up since morning, when IDF surrounded structure. IDF surrounded installation all day, fired small arms and tank shells and used bulldozers against building walls.
2. EIGHT MONTHS INSIDE.
Yesterday: Court sentenced MK Naomi Blumenthal to eight months' imprisonment and 10 months' suspended. Court determined that crime involved moral turpitude: Blumenthal cannot serve in next Knesset.

It was perfect military operation. After 10-hour siege of Jericho prison, Minister Rechavam Zeevy's murderers surrendered to IDF. Olmert called Yael Zeevy, minister's widow, after operation and said: We got them.

SUMMARY OF EDITORIALS FROM THE HEBREW PRESS
Both papers comment on yesterday's successful operation in Jericho to capture – inter alia – the Palestinian terrorists responsible for the 17.10.01 assassination of Tourism Minister Rechavam Zeevy:
Yediot Ahronot says that yesterday's operation gave the following message: "Even late, the day of vengeance and payback will always come."
Hatzofeh asserts that the operation, "was not political," and believes that, "Acting Prime Minister Olmert could not have done otherwise."

Yediot Ahronot, in its second editorial, refers to yesterday's sentencing of Likud MK Naomi Blumenthal to eight months' imprisonment on corruption charges and decries her, "arrogant behavior," for refusing to suspend herself from the Likud Knesset list.
