SUMMARY OF EDITORIALS FROM THE HEBREW PRESS
Hatzofeh asserts that, "The diplomatic program of Prime Minister-designate Ehud Olmert – if indeed he wins the elections – will win him the 'Friend of Hamas' citation," and declares that, "Olmert is acting according to Hamas's interests."
Yediot Ahronot says that, "The chance to refashion Israel's reality'…begins with each citizen's readiness to give these elections a chance."
Yediot Ahronot, in its second editorial, suggests that too many politicians and other public figures are running off at the mouth regarding Israel's options vis-ŕ-vis Iran.
Yediot Ahronot, in its third editorial, believes that the elections are a referendum on, "the continuation of the occupation."
